On May 25th I visited the labs of Prof. Emma Björk at Linköping University to learn about their routines measuring samples with very small surface area using Krypton adsorption. Emma is an expert in the synthesis and characterization of nano-structured porous materials. I enjoyed very much talking about gas adsorption experiments and visiting the other labs and parts of campus. Thank you Emma for being a great host.
I had never been in Linköping and I think it is a very nice city. Of course the very sunny weather and the green park helped shaping this impression. I definitely need to come back on another occasion to explore more.
This visit marks the start of a series of visits I hope finding the time doing visiting gas sorption labs around the country that work with all aspects of volumetric or other kinds of gas adsorption.
